moraPOS supports USB barcode scanners (keyboard-wedge type). These type the barcode number followed by Enter, just like a keyboard.
How it works
- Plug in your USB scanner — no driver installation needed.
- On the POS page, scan a product's barcode.
- The product is found and added to the cart automatically.
- Scan the same barcode again to increase the quantity by 1.
- A beep plays when a product is found; an error sound plays if the barcode isn't recognized (when sound is enabled).
Note: Make sure the POS page is focused (click anywhere on it) before scanning. The scanner detects rapid key presses — if you're in a text field, the input may be captured there instead.
